(2) Events that had a significant impact on the financial condition and business performance of the Company during this quarter :
On June 21, 2004, the company's customer, The Tohoku Bunka Gakuen University, petitioned for business reorganization under the Civil Rehabilitation Law. The Company had accounts receivable from The Tohoku Bunka Gakuen University in the amount of 4,291 million yen as of June 30, 2004.
Recordable amounts of accounts receivable cannot be predicted with certainty at this time.
Also, this relevant event is not included in the forecast of business performance announced on May 19, 2004.
