3.There was no extraordinary matter that significantly
affected the Company's financial condition
or business performance during the 3rd quarter.
4.The Financial Statement for the semi-annual
period announced on November 11, 2003 stated that
the target volume for awarded projects related to the construction
field during this fiscal year was in
the amount of 480billion JPY (Non-consolidated basis) in expectation
of increased contract awards in
the second half-year compared with the first half-year.
However, due to the actual result for the third quarter
and to maintain the company policy of
concentrating on projects with the most reasonable sales-profit ratios,
this might cause a decrease in
the contract award volume for the following quarter. Consequently,
the Company revised its target
amount downward to 420billion JPY.
