Aldrich Bay, Phase 4

1. Project Brief
It is an important matter to have a residence in Hong Kong due to the high population density. The Hong Kong Housing Authority supplies good public housing based on their comprehensive governmental housing policy. Aldrich Bay Project Phase 4 includes five residential buildings and one elementary school building in the Shau Kei Wan area in the northeast part of Hong Kong Island. Four of them are 41-story high-rise buildings, and the total number of residential units will exceed 1,700. Nishimatsu is constructing this large-scale project independently.
2. Rapid Construction with Various Original Ideas
Nishimatsu has acquired the expert know-how to construct high-quality structures at a high speed, having already built many high-rise buildings in the past. Nishimatsu will complete this project within the very short time period of only 32 months, by making full use of the following technologies:
- Non-scaffolding method (both exterior and interior),
- Steel formwork method (combined with scaffolding),
- Half PC slab method,
- Separated pouring method for wall and slab, and
- PC panel method for outer wall
