Tunnelling under Densely Built-up Area in Hong Kong
The Quarry Bay Congestion Relief Works Contract 680 consists
of the modification of the North Point Station and tunnels of MTR, which
are located under the most densely built-up area in Hong Kong.
Two TBMs are being used for boring the running tunnels, and NATM is being adopted to excavate the associated tunnels.
